JB was a Yankee kid until the BC coach requested she move to an ECNL team.

That is true - and back then YU was a stronger club. It isn't any longer. Same with WM at ND.

Not entirely accurate, but one thing a coach will want to see is your talent level against ECNL quality week in and week out.. tournaments etc. Not saying GA, EDP teams dont have good quality, but they weekly competition is not that at ECNL... Susa, World Class, FC Stars, CFC, PDA etc their top teams are loaded

Not dead in the water, just wont dominate. Most of the best 2009 (freshman) and 2010 are not going to St Joes. They are going to NEPSAC or staying public. Jack has the perfect storm right now, but its ending in 2024. Its hard to replace the top 3 he has and he is a very good coach, but domination will be over!

A transfer has to meet the criteria set because there is no filling for weaknesses or super teams.
With respect to the Stratford kid, didn’t the parents have to move to Stratford in order for the child to attend Stratford HS? Families move all the time, Why would CIAC prevent a child whose family moved from one CT town to another CT town playing sports in the new town they moved to? What am I missing.?

Your not missing anything. If a kid/family moves to another town then they absolutely have the right to go to that school. Public to Public is no issue at all. I have only seen issues with false address such as using a family members address to get into the school but that gets sniffed out pretty easy. You example nothing wrong with

You can request to attend a school in a non resident town but also have to pay for it, so few take advantage of it. Kids with Divorced parents in 2 towns can essentially pick with some completed paperwork.

Like when they dominated with JB and then didn't. Sometimes the stars are in alignment, more often than not they aren't

No awards and possibly few games would shut his recruiting down fast. You're not getting All American without All State.
newbie HS varsity dads are so cute- they think that everyone hates JN and stjs- news flash they dont
how do you think stjs kids get awards?-JN cant vote for them
your coaches vote for the best kids in conf- and JN certainly has some of those kids

do his kids deserve less consideration because they beat your kids

Absolutely not all coaches hate him. They hate the recruiting advantage that St Joes has. The goalie got first team all FCIAC and stood like a statue in most games and his 2nd team candidates were not better than some honorable mentions but if you win and win consistently you will get the benefit...FCIAC coaches get together before tourney and make thier votes of course Jack votes. Nothing wrong with it... The issue everyone is having is he fills gaps through his star player making calls..The purpose again based on CIAC rules is not to fill gaps of weakness and build super teams. Not that hard to understand. . and once she is gone they wont dominate. Until then FCIAC teams will play for 2nd place next year and then its wide open

I've been hearing that since JM graduated. Unfortunately, they always find a way to bring in the talent.

SJ didn’t dominate the four years that JB played. SJ’s domination began in 2021 and will likely continue through 2024.

They won 2015-2017. Last two years have been the most dominant. Both state and FCIAC champions. Like JN said, best team he has had.
