A top player who is younger is expected be more agile than all players one year older, what else do you bring to the table? If they also don’t ooze soccer IQ, then you don’t belong there. Most of the 2014’s playing at OW 2013 struggle with soccer IQ. Building out of the back and switching fields are foreign concepts driven by luck on each possession. Nowhere close to understanding rotations. Kick and run. Dribble till you fail. That’s what’s happening east of the river.
This isn’t how I’d spend $6M, nor would it be how I would spend $3k. Yikes!

Dude are you open to coaching this age group? I’m serious.

Pep G couldn't win with some of these teams. Talent is what it is. 3K doesnt buy talent like most parents think it will.

I’m sorry your player is on the B team. The reality is most of these kids come from one town and played together for years. They are far superior to the other players. So it’s natural the 1-2 stars from the younger class from the same said town play with them. The others can’t crack the line up.

Oakwood has three teams at 2013. Their A team plays in the 1st division of the Northeast Academy league, their B team plays in the 2nd division of the Northeast Academy league. Their C teams play in the Edp.
A team had a 2-2 tie this weekend. Is all this uproar about C teams?!

Yeah but have you seen Oakwood boys at the 2013 and 2012 level do a Maradona with no pressure? Best in the state!

Yeah it’s pretty phenomenal. I wish they didn’t spent all their time and energy perfecting this one move. Once you spin your way to the opposing team’s corner you cannot spin any further and need a plan.

Ha you wish that they were far superior. 8-3 loss to Bolts says there are a lot of players not measuring up in that player pool. That likely is your 2014 group from the same town if you played FSA 2014 and lost 7-0. If it isn’t you are just cratering the age appropriate team trying to eke out something that isn’t there. Wow those seem to be some pesky facts. Scoreline is not up for debate.

This is pre-MLSnext baby. Town friendships are irrelevant. Soccer wasn’t invented in your town so competing at a high level actually has nothing to do with any of that. You will have to play against the best and hold your own. Do you think Revs, NYCFC, or RB base their squad around town soccer? Nope and you wonder why you don’t win. Case closed.

Do FSA and Oakwood top teams play each other? Not the B or C teams, their top teams.

I can’t believe I am reading 2013 and 2014. Who cares about that toddler soccer. This site is such a waste of time. Why do I keep thinking something worthwhile will be here.

I know I thought the same thing, but same stuff is happening to the older groups so feel free to insert a team more mature and ask the question: “how did we get here?”. Wait do you think it started with dumb decisions years ago. Doing, ding. “Get the man a prize”.
