I should have sent my 2012 then. I decided not to because of epic losses. How much longer before they get kicked out or relegated to that new lower division. Maybe that sighting at the HA tryout wasn’t an accident.

FSA 2011s beat HA 2011s 7-0 in a real game a few weeks ago and it wasn’t even that close.

snd FSA 2011s aren’t the top 2011 team in the state unless my eyes deceive me.

      guve me a break.

Guide for the Noobs on TS:

              U9 through U13 = ulittles doesnt matter
              U-14 through U15 = starting to matter
              U16 = matters
U17 and on = really matters

              You’re Welcome

As the 2011 post guy (friend with FSA 2011 parent) , I’d say none of this matters. That anyone takes any this seriously is hilarious. It’s parents paying thousands to watch kids play mediocre soccer.

to tell parents of 2013s or 2011s that their experience matters less than a 2008 is stupid. Ulittle parents are allowed to care. Just as you’re allowed to be an idiot on an anonymous forum.

It's the same loser CFC/Red Devil coach, posting over and over again.

Same dude tripped over his ego last weekend? I’m sure that the Sporting goon squad will be out next match. Laugh it up now.

I didn't post that it doesn't matter, but it definitely matters less than many ulittle parents realize. Parents with older kids usually have it figured out(although some carry their nuttiness into U14+). Find a good and enthusiastic coach and a team with similar level players near your home. If your kid wants more then seek out a nearby club around U11. See where it goes and what your kid wants to do each year. They may be good enough to move to the top levels in a few years. They may not. They may not want it. They may stop altogether.

The only thing that matters is your kid! If your kid is u11 - u11 matters more than u17! U17 really? By that age your kid better be great in something else but soccer :)

Playing more competitive *anything* is better than playing lower competition. Top uLittle kids did not go to HA try outs, FSA, CFC, OW can chill :)

Right. It's the dumbest thing. And it was only in response to someone suggesting an MLS rep was "watching" 2011 tryouts. Therefore the 2011 discussion.

When my son was 12, I reminded him over and over that the games didn't matter. We all know that. The other parents at the time seemed to know that. It was just competitive fun. But they kind of matter to 12 year olds, and that's fine. But LordTS is here to tell us otherwise. Eff that guy.

Especially because in order to learn to play proper soccer at that level you are going to lose a lot of games vs. other teams just kick over the top to the fast kid. We have seen it time and time again. Keep those kids together for a few years and they start winning.

A lot of controversy over this, scuttlebutt states allegedly game was asked to be re-played with age appropriate kids on the FSA side or forfeited whatever that means, but if so you can't compare 11 year olds and 10 year olds playing up, to 13 year olds there to make a statement.
