Didn't someone ask who on that team is committed? Either you want to know or you don't want to know.

They are a phenomenon. Check out where they are in the NE standings - hot fire!

Most of their teams are in the basement. They were never barnburners but OW teams used to be solid

Wow, they are as bad as FSA girls now. At least FSA girls can play high school where they can make a difference and enjoy the sport and be competitive. Funny how they have MLS in the title of the league but stop playing MLS academy teams at U14 when they have already lost their best talent to those clubs. I guess that is like ECNL-R .... just stick the right words into the league's name and parents are foolish enough to believe it is true! Idiots.

Really unless you're at a pro MLS club or one of the top pay-to-plays you should seriously question if MLSN is worth it.

It really is not worth it at all. This is why you see these clubs bleeding players at U16+. The reality is most realize they are practice cones for a few chosen ones, college soccer is jammed with 25 year old south americans and brit academy washouts and there is no gain from playing MLSN, practicing 4x per week and traveling all over the place in hopes of playing D3 or club soccer in college. College coaches jamming rosters with international players basically kills any benefit from high level youth club.

Nothing wrong with D3 but you don't need MLSN to play it. 100+ fewer men's D1 programs and fewer scholarships per team. Most D2s have weak academics

Exactly. the commitment to practice, travel and no HS for MLSN is great for the kids who might go pro but for 99% of the players it comes way short on the cost to benefit ratio. SOme players still do it because they just want to be in the best league and team they can play for, which is fine, but more and more are realizing that they're doing all of that to be practice cones.

If you have the skills and drive to realistically play top D1 you need to be in MLSN. For all the rest #101 - #300 plus D2 and D3 you may not need to. And on the men's side scholarships are a joke so take that out of the equation altogether. If you want to do MLSN because it's your best option and family can afford it that's great. If your HS team sucks and you're not interested in playing, don't. But if you want to play or are even in the fence there are other options out there. Once you've graduated there's no going back

This advice works in the other 49 states but not here. The two clubs are too weak to capture anyone’s imagination. This is why some hope that the USL and HA fix that dynamic, but they need to be in a better league.
