Hilarious that would even make such a comparison. Yes competing for spots at the college level is intense, but coaches don't appreciate the supposed behavior. BC has dozens of other players dying to play there without baggage. They also notice bad parents.


That said the poster that drew attention to this one player is jerk. No need for that and he's exactly the kind of parent college coaches want to avoid.

Until US Soccer steps in to streamline the leagues and knock down the walled gardens, nothing will improve. Thats all they were really supposed to do and they failed so that is a setback of at least a decade. Hey maybe by then all people will care about is eports or the metaverse, anyway. As long as soccer has to operate as a business and groups of clubs can create their own leagues, this will continue.

Its happening across much of youth sports. Loads of "elite" leagues and clubs fighting for the massive dollars parents are willing to spend. Add to it no real effective governing body. Leadership matters and there really isn't any for US Soccer
