Brendan Abernethy from Bishop Verot, 8 goals in last 4 games of playoffs including 2 in state semis and 3 in state finals, and oh yeah a 3A State Title as a senior.
24 goals
18 assist
Or Andrew Palumbo from Bishop Verot who had 45 goals and 23 assist along with a state title as a junior.
Both deserve a serious look for player of the year in the state, it should undoubtedly go to a player from Melbourne or Bishop Verot as both teams seemed to set the pace the whole year.

Brendan Abernethy, Bishop Verot. Hugh impact, consistent over the season. Stepped up to the challenge. Very skillful.

I am lost on Melbourne's Ryan Price statistics. I see 3 against Seminole in the finals and 2 against in Auburndale in the Semi. Not 6. Bishop Verot's Brendan Abernethy had 2 within the same minute of play against Episcopal in the Semi and 3 against North Broward Prep which is 5 as well. They were the highest scoring players in the State Final four Tourny. Price is a forward and Abernethy is a midfield.
