This game would have been a mercy rule if the St Pete coach didn't pull her starters after the first 15 minutes. The score was 3-0 15 minutes into the 1st half. Coach pulled starters and let rest of team play remaining game.

It's preseason, the score and even the win really do not matter much. You are clearly the better team. The real story is how bad is Tarpon losing both games in blow-outs. Did they pull their starters and let JV players play?

Nice job to St Pete for winning two and to Dunedin for winning a game (even though it does not count in the standings) for the first time in over a year.

6A District looks like PHU and then SP. 5A looks like Seminole and EL with Tarpon a distant afterthought.

Berkeley is much more solid with the addition of that GK. The kid is good. She made 2 great back to back saves to preserve the win over EL.

These games do not count in the standings, it's preseason. PHU won a State Title last year and lost only a couple of players. The Countryside result was a surprise last night, but again it does not count. I am not sure about the Sarasota teams that make up the 6A District with PHU, SP and Countryside, but I think that come January PHU will be the best.
