PDA did offer at least one player from the MFA 2008's a roster spot, not sure if she accepted.

DB will make her weekend in Greer miserable if she accepted already.

He runs the girls side like it's the mafia. You're either with us or you're against us. If you even consider leaving the Match Fit family, we're going to punish you.

This is 100% accurate. If you tell them you are not coming back, they will tell the player you can come to practice but you may not get rostered and if you do you may not play. We want to give time to those that are committed to our team and program. We want to continue to “develop” the players who want to be here for the long term.
These are NOT my words but DB and JRs.

Is DB even going down to Greer? He usually sends RB on those types of trips to cover for him.

For that reason is why she was not at the open tryout or has not said a word about leaving MF.

Totally true! I heard this from multiple families who have left MF North. If they choose to tryout elsewhere they are never rostered for a game again. He claims that it is what is best for the team but it is actually punishment for thinking of leaving. He has lost so many players who were on the fence by bullying the kids for looking around at other clubs. Let people have the freedom to choose what is best for them, maybe they would decide to stay or return one day if things don't work out. He burns every bridge, not a good look for the club.

They might perform better if he stays home.

Tough guys who take pleasure in bullying young girls are the biggest pussies on the planet.

I would tend to think any higher level ECNL club would have a similar feeling of either your with us or against us. You think Mick would be ok with one of his girls going to try out for Penn Fusion…come on people you can’t have it both ways.

Keep in mind they have these conversations with the girls on the field. I encourage my daughter to have developmental type conversations but these coaches bully the girls during these meetings. Coaches have no idea who the parents are and don’t care to. That is except those that manage Teamsnap and do the admin stuff. They know those parents by first name.

DB and RT are the best in the business for doing it.

MFA would be a destination club if they ever fired these two.
