Best club for recruiting

If you are a player from the other side of the mountains, here is what I recommend.

Go to ID camps of the schools you are interested in. You must start early and kick the ecnl Players butts.

You will get noticed then.

I’m an Eastside parent. There are some good coaches and teams but in general as a club they pretty much half ass it in most areas. They do the minimum that have to and are just fine being the 4th or 5th best club in the RCL.

1. Make a college list
2. Email them with grades, film, and interest.
3. Have the grades and test scores.
4. Figure out if you can afford it. Figure out the NPC for each college.
5. Realistic targets for soccer and school.
6. Repeat until you get recruited or figure out it ain't in the cards.

Or just email Stanford and tell them that you want a full scholarship and the coaches
need to wash her car once a week.

Eastside is a country club and most of the ECNL girls are really sheltered princesses.
The parents and players have no idea what it takes to actually play in college.
Some recruitment, but weak @ss. They are not willing to cut girls to make a stronger team.
Too nice and play nice coaches. Don't get me wrong. Nice coaches, but they need
some serious hard-asses to compete against XF and SU. They have everything in place,
but will and dedicated players.

XF is the best club for recruiting. They are hard but fair. Billy is an ashhole but he is hard, but fair. JB is another one. They will take everyone and give them a chance.
They are the best aggregator of talent. College coaches recruit individual players, not teams. You better show during ID camps or you will be exposed.

Seattle United does a pretty good. But no fields really suck. But they have a good rep
for sending smart girls to academic D3 and D1. Some P5 D1, but good job.

PacNW does a good job, but mostly local area colleges, such as EWU, Idaho, Montana St.
Malia is a college shill but still does a good job.

WPFC does a good job also. Very Paclike in colleges, but they do a good job.
They send to D2, D3 likes SPU and PLU. Good ECNL director coach.

Reign GA - 04 are rocking. But the after that, I do not know.

Keep in mind many ECNL girls don’t get recruited. Not because they didn’t want to, but they didn’t find the right school match for their soccer abilities. When the schools they went to play for don’t show interest a lot of players will hang their cleats up in search of the college they want to attend without the soccer piece.
