It would have been SO much easier for the state to just say if a county is in phase 2 it can do youth sports at the moderate level; phase 1 low; phase 3 unrestricted. Instead, after months of dithering around when our numbers were very low and the weather was good, they came up with this whole new set of metrics that are completely unconnected to the general range of activity permitted in a county or the relative risk of youth sports.

Appears likely King County will also be over 75 by the time the State reports tomorrow, meaning that all games for the remainder of October will be cancelled. At least the kids now have 3v3 drills that ensure playing in tighter spaces while still exposing each player to all of his or her teammates.

I think it's more connected than those phase numbers. Spokane is in phase 2 and has 215/200k.

Thanks for making your priorities clear. And for demonstrating that you really, really don't get it.

pac contacted us last night to say they were cancelling all weekend games and want to re-schedule. Guess they aren't bothering to wait for the numbers today.

Well at least we can look forward to the next virus. Should be in about 2-3 more months. Perhaps this is the new norm.

We should all heartily support Jay in his (Machiavellian) quest to get a much-deserved cabinet position and screw over us lowly WaRshingtonians with a multitude of porblems caused by his ineptitude.
