How many of those have been traced to youth sports?

WP was using the State's delayed dashboard numbers as an excuse to open up training and scrimmage (even though TPCHD's numbers were more recent, and exceeded the threshold for doing so).

But that excuse no longer exists, because as of yesterday the State's dashboard puts us over 75.

Ah, yes, the "if you don't take a pregnancy test you can't be pregnant" logical game.

Thanks for making your priorities clear. And for demonstrating that you really, really don't get it.

I can't tell if this makes us the "best and greatest again" (Trumpy) or if we are "winning" (Charlie Sheen)

Take out the false positives and all the retakes to confirm someone has Covid.

But the state FAQ now says you don’t need to check the state dashboard unless it’s the 1st or 15th. https://www.governor.wa.gov/sites/de...ties%20FAQ.pdf

That would make sense, but only if a club used the "rule" consistently.

We received emails from WP's DOC (on 10/6) and our son's coach (on both 10/7 and 10/8) saying Pierce County didn't meet the criteria for scrimmaging, games, etc.

However, teams were scrimmaging the night of 10/8, which was explained by our son's coach as being allowed under the new numbers from the state dashboard that afternoon.

I'm comfortable with the kids playing but let's at least be consistent.

At least the state has now provided definitive guidance on which dashboard should be used and when: look at the state dashboard on the 1st and 15th. As of today, the King County dashboard is at 74.1, so still in moderate so games for the next two weeks should depend on whether that dashboard is a touch above or a touch below 75 tomorrow. Why this state has decided to link outdoor youth sports to the standards for indoor school and while having less restrictive guidelines for adults indoors in bars, movie theaters, bowling alleys, and restaurants remains a mystery.

What does this mean? We have games scheduled. Will these games be cancelled?
