Yes it is. All other clubs in the area seems like they are looking to start practices back up next week not one of them is canceling till April 6th. FC Spokane also canceled all Academy sessions which ironically are in the Spokane Soccer Center. Those sessions are part of the premier dues already paid for. SPJSA who run Plantes Ferry where they practice stated they are not shutting down fields, just seems they are using this Pandemic to coast through the rest of the season with minimal costs and this day camp proves it’s not about the safety or taking care of the kids/families that keep this club goingOriginally posted by Unregistered View PostComment

They might be providing a space for kids whose parents have to work and have no other place to take them with schools closed. So I wouldn't jump straight to look at that nasty club trying to make money. It's not like there are a lot of options for parents that can't just take 2-6weeks off work to care for their kids.

Don’t buy it. Sorry if I don’t trust the intentions of JC. Read Anthony Fauci’s recent comments and convince me that paying $40/day for a bunch of kids from different neighborhoods and schools to attend an indoor soccer camp is a good idea. Schools are shut down for a reason. A person that can shell out $40/day for soccer camp isn’t the key demo that “needs” childcare during this.Comment

Then Dr. Fauci clarified that the virus will continue to be with us through summer but they will be assessing every two week re: restrictions and interventions.
