Now that UW’s WSoc season is over, when do you think they’ll announce the new head coach? Her assistants are coaching at clubs which makes it easier for a new coach to bring in. I’m just surprised nothing has been said about her replacement. I hope the job goes to another female since Katz is our at Oregon. Julie Woodward would be great at UW. Has anyone heard any of any viable candidates aside from rumor on here about Theresa Romagnolo?

Throwing out some female coaching names - not that I have heard any rumors about them, but solid college coaching resumes looking for promotion ?
-
Tiffany Roberts Sahaydak – UCF
Michelle French– Portland (would she leave this quickly?)
Lauren Hanson – San Jose St
Heather Dyche – New Mexico
Nicole Van Dyke – Penn (former Stanford asst, from west coast)
Kia McNeill – Brown
-
Tracey Kevins - USYNT

Given that TR was hired by RR for SU ECNL and seemed to take players he chose in advance of tryouts, I assume he'll support her from his position at UW. She is well qualified to coach college soccer, so would be a reasonable pick anyway.

Romagnolo seems like the most obvious choice if she wants the job — already here and on staff, uw alum, head and asst coaching stints in top programs like Notre Dame and Stanford.
MF leaving her alma mater after two years would be a shock. She seems committed to rebuilding the program at UP.
Kevins has no experience in a college environment. Hard to imagine Ellis wanting that gig rather than getting paid a lot for a studio job at the olympics and World Cup.
South Florida, UCF, Penn, Depaul, St Louis coaches interesting possibilities if we can assume (as most seem to be) that UW is likely to hire a woman.

According to http://fiscal.wa.gov/Salaries.aspx , in 2018 Shulenberger WSU made $200k and Gallimore UW made $150k.
