I was at the U12 XF select tryouts last night and I counted over 160 boys and a lot of Lake Washington premier fc jerseys. They only have team at that age right? I guess there may be a lot of openings on the Barracudas.

We do love our team and club culture. The boys were also undefeated during the season and will be back together this summer.

You sound like a bitter crossfire parent. You're still stuck at a club that doesn't develop the player. We used to be you. ;)

LWPFC is THE center for true development of youth athletes. They develop “the player”, whatever that means. Just look at their success and history of athletes they’ve produced. Wait…. I’m confused. Poster please help us

Yes, we just went undefeated. Very happy with our players and teams success, yes (clapping) though it seems to really bother you. Interesting. You are really butthurt about something.

LWPFC was formed by an entire girls team leaving Xfire years ago. The Xfire coaches and other parents from that time have never forgiven them. Same muppets you now see popping up every time the club is mentioned to attack them. It's pathetic really. Let it go.

My six year old XF rec sons team also went undefeated and we went out for ice cream and that was it. To be undefeated and the 64th best team in the state means you are playing some very very crappy teams in a very crappy league. We are supper glad your son enjoys playing with friends but stop pretending he is playing competitive soccer and go have some ice cream. He deserves it.

I can’t tell at this point if this is sarcasm of this person is being serious. But maybe this is why LWPFC has people sign up?

LWPFC has people sign up? It looks like they have age gaps all over the place, maybe 2 ages with an A/B team, kids having no teams when they get older and lots of kids having to play up cause there is no team at their age. By definition this is not a soccer club, it is one mans vanity project

Indeed but unless the above parent is a troll, they genuinely believe their “undefeated season” at rec level is significant and they’re seeing development. How can people even bother when that’s a narrative out there, you have to genuinely feel bad for them

First they didn’t go undefeated, they were 6-1-1. Second they were in WPL Classic 1 which is the third division of WPL which makes it about that 10th division overall. #64 in the state sounds about accurate.

Lake Washington Doesn't pay their coaches, he finds guys from Microsoft to coach and when they realize how much work it is they leave. His 08 coach is banned from coaching in the LWSA and NPSL and RCL, but LWFC was happy to take him, and his assistant coach already got in a physical altercation with another LWFC coach, and the team didn't have enough players to plat most it's games until the last 2 weekends of the season (seems like a great hire). The whole club is a vanity project. The founder had a team he thought was hot stuff, he went to Crossfire Premier and wanted to take the team there. Club told him the kids would have to pay for tryout and he would have to be approved, he got butt hurt that they wouldn't just accept a whole poached team so he started his own club. Their whole strategy seems to be poaching over development, which doesn't work at the older age groups which is why they struggle. They don't develop so why would anyone go there, sorry to say that's the club kids go to when their parents have burned every other bridge in town. They are at best select level and they have a few coaches with kids on the teams that stay around for the long haul. I know at least one of their coaches left recently to go to crossfire select, stand up guy that played for the Thai National team, but I don't follow them at all and non one has ever heard of any of their coaches so why would they know if and when they are leaving. They have their assistant coaches listed to make it seem like they are larger then they are and zero Bio information on anyone . . . there are worse places to play, but don't believe the sales pitch.
