A SU parent told me that a lot of their teams were signed up for that Valor tournament that was cancelled, so kids had plans to be out of town this weekend. Too many small tournaments, need to consolidate but then not everyone gets their $$$$.
Perfect weather - 72 degrees, fields are in good shape, parking is easy, food and beer readiky available, and its a good opportunity to get games in just before the season.
They also seem to have forgotten to hire enough refs. One final started 20 mins late because there were no refs.
