Unfortunately for the surf brand, a surf tournament around here is now synonymous with an expensive club jamboree with terrible team matchups

I don’t think it’s necessarily the Surf Brand. XF was still fine. Not what it used to be but still fine. The problem for Western Washington and this tournament is no one wants anything to do with MM. There’s a reason they had to pay a higher amount to sanction through USSSA instead of US Youth or US Club like every other event does. Since their tournament director is suspended for stealing player information.

My Facebook is blowing up with adds to send my kids to surf elite camp. I know Western titans surf is a for profit business but were are all the profits coming from to pay for all these adds? It just feels really sleezy around all these kids . And are there are more than 10 elite kids at each age group and gender on the Eastside and aren't they already playing for Crossfire and EFC? Who are the marketing to?

Naive parents. Say what you will about Surf. The name still has brand recognition. At least until Marlon flushes that down the toilet completely.
