Nowhere on the Titans/WWS site or on the Gala site do I see any reference to either offering rec teams. Rec means no player placement based on ability. It also typically means a volunteer coach with a price point no higher than $300 for the fall season.
It's popular on this forum to use rec as a pejorative term for "any team or club I perceive as playing at a level lower than my kid's team is at, but outside of this forum, it does have a specific meaning.

Rec = grassroots = Bush League. It actually has more meaning in the youth soccer world the "elite" "academy" "premier"

The only way to group youth soccer teams is to use their rankings which are based solely on how they perform against each other not on self branding. For pre high school boys ages:

1-4 Academy
5-15 Elite
16-25 Premier
26-50 Competitive or select
51 or above Rec or Grassroots

Stop with all the other nonsense about saying "we picked the kids, we pay $3500/year, we play in league with the word "elite" in it." That's just a bunch of nonsense.

Who is Gala FC? Newish club? What league do they play in?

Any one know their founder Daghan Kesim?

One of their teams is in first div at EFC Cup and I've never heard of them.

They got dropped to the second div. Someone must have seen this thread.
