    dual rostering

keep reading it about it here but how is it done? do you just contact a coach in another league and ask to train and see where it goes even though you're on another team? or are these players typically recruited by another team? say im on xfire and a wpl team comes to me. Is that how it works? i want to play more matches

Just register on another team from a different org, and tell the coach that it will be a lower priority team for you (if it will).

If your current team is a half way decent one and your current coach finds out you will be either 1) dropped from the team 2) have your playing time curtailed and/or 3) allowed to hang around the rest of the year then cut or dropped down next tryouts.

I have zero understanding for parents who think if Jr just could fit an extra training session each week with some crappy WPL coach he would be able to go D1 in 6 years.

If you have that kind of money work with a conditioning trainer on your day off and make sure it's someone who can be tuned into your players recovery time so if he shows up for a session and is not fit he sends your sone home for a rest.

Is there space available on an older team within your own club?

My daughter plays for a wpl team. USClub
It is select age is HS. The season runs Jan to April. She has a few tournaments in the summer. Im signing her up for Rec. USYS Seasons are Sept. / Oct. And again for April/ May. She shouldn't have many games cross over. It is select, she should play on other teams

            .
Not looking to argue this but if this the case, then why is there so much dual-rostering happening? Even at Xfire. Not seeing these kids getting dropped or losing PT.

But how do you "just register" on another team?

We are in the ecnl program and it there is a dual rostered kid his parents have told him to keep his mouth shut. I suppose an rcl1/d kid could but then who really cares?
