    Flopping

Why so much flopping? It's making really hard to watch. Is this taught? Is that the way you want to win? Just get up off the ground. You are not hurt. Get out of the refs face. Stop begging. Stop begging for a call. I'm so glad I don't see much of this in girls.

Totally controllable by the field ref. Just give a couple early simulation yellows.

Were you watching PacNW play? I think some coaches just encourage this behavior by giving a lot of free kicks at practices so players just flop as soon as they lose the ball. I have a veo video where a player's legs would give out and he plopped on the ground EVERY TIME (I am not kidding) the other players legally took the ball away from him. Happened at least seven times during the game, it was very funny and luckily the ref was onto him.

I can tell that this is a jealous little hater who is hating on his son’s new teammate that you happen to be obsessed with and jealous of. Or a weak immature ref who is a ****ty player.

Maybe someone should teach this trash players to use their feet and to stop tackling and pushing which you do happen to see a lot among the older less skillful girls.

I can tell you this. I’ve never seen so many young male players with serious or close to serious injuries. It’s a function of this rough soccer and fat players on the top teams. The egocentric referees need to do their jobs. They think they’re going to straighten everyone out.

        Get a life. For real.

As for these heavy boys. It’s abnormal for kids who are so active.

Ten years ago, you would not see such poorly fed boys on top teams. They are dangerous. Also, angry unskilled early bloomers are dangerous as well which is they’re being split up. I can tell you parents now. There’s no long future in it….

While we’re at it some of these kids need meds for their anxiety and the parents who freak them out before games need meds too.

These new referees be out here like the movie Mall Cop. Some even request to play certain games and may be targeting particular players. Some of the younger ones are put up to it by their parents. Like Chris Jones, MD, and his sons. He claims to be so busy with his practice but has oddly begun to referee with his boys.

          Whatever the case..
Referees should err on the side of calling fouls to prevent injuries.

Do you not watch professional soccer? Where do you think they're learning it from?

I hope you are aware that if the ball is within playing distance, the player may be fairly charged by an opponent?

Op here. I was talking about the pros. I watch the games on TV with my daughter and we can't make it 5 minutes without someone begging for a call. If you are not hurt then get up off the ground. How many water breaks do we get. The first half of the usmnt was tough to watch. I thought they would add 20 minutes extra time. I don't want the girls to learn this tactic. It would be torture for me.

I don’t think you understand how hard is it to half-sprint 7 miles when people are kicking you in the legs. It’s very obvious you’ve never actually played proper football, thus it’s hard to understand.

I have never played in the pros. You are right about that. I know that they do get tripped. I know that sometimes they get hurt. I don't like it when they pretend to get hurt. I don't like the faking injuries. Now we have to see it in basketball. You're right this is hard to understand. Feels borderline line cheating to try to manipulate the ref. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if I didn't see it played back on replay. If you love it, good for you.
