MLS Next??

California (huge population - I get that) has so many MLS Next teams and we have one (Sounders for a couple age groups.) Are we getting more? It seems like MLS Next gets a lot of top talent in other states and is really growing, while we still are so connected to ECNL on the boys side. Seems like the competition would be really solid. Does anyone have any input?

There aren’t enough good teams/population to make it make sense to have another league. You would just get the ECNL teams with a different league name. There is no point.
