    The Price of Blind Trust

J lived for soccer. At 17, he was the star of his club team and dreamed of going pro. When Coach M promised to get him a scholarship to a top university, J was ecstatic.

"Just focus on scoring goals," Coach said. "I'll handle your grades and applications."

Trusting his mentor, J poured everything into training. He broke scoring records but let his studies slip. J waited eagerly for news of his scholarship. It never came. He discovered Coach had fabricated his academic record. No university would take him now. Devastated, J confronted Coach M.

"You were never good enough for college ball," the coach sneered. "I needed you to win games. That's all."

J's dreams crumbled, built on a foundation of lies. He vowed to rebuild them himself, this time on truth.

?? Why would anyone have their coach 'handle' grades (what does that even mean) and applications.

Probably have parents who cannot/will not help so trust this coach to do it for them. Sad story if this is true.

      What club is this?
