Based on how quickly Marlon got reintroduced into the conversation, it sounds like the cracks are already forming?

Do your best and have fun. Everything else is someone else’s problem.

Big clubs will never leave RCL for WPL, they will never give up their regional non-compete through RCL. So it will limp along for their 2nd-5th teams forcing families to drive from Bellingham to gig harbor and eastern washington despite their being plenty of competitive teams all within 30-45 minuted of each other for their u9 division 3 games. Then they will wonder why families leave for other sports because they don't want to drive 10 hours for youth league game.

US Club could have really rocked the boat if they had made US Club teams ECNL. Instead they went ahead and made USYS teams the doninant ECNL League.

              Why?

Because the quality of clubs in US Club couldnt compete with the USYS clubs.

Think how things might have been different if ISC Gunners, Celtic, and other WPL teams were made ECNL.

ECNL, a US Club league completely ripped the heart out of WPL and its clubs. In the end they chose USYS/RCL clubs because it was, and is, the dominant league.

I'm sure the Celtic and WWS and Liverpool will argue how they are better than this club or that club and how they can beat ECNL...

But the facts are the facts.

US Club looked past its own US Club teams and went and gave ECNL to RCL teams.

How hard do the ECNL clubs work to make sure the RCL(without ECNL) clubs stay content with the status quo?

The youth soccer program in Washington is a joke. How is the structure what's best for youth athletes? ITS NOT!!! It's all about ego's. Unfortunately it would take a group of people willing to evaluate and create something new with our youth players at the heart of the solution. We just don't have enough people willing to do that. So we Stay with the same old stuff hoping our players lands on a good team with a good coach and good teammates.
