    3 biggest fibs of a youth soccer coach

    1. Certainly first and foremost, it’s my job to foster a child’s joy of playing sport.
    2. Our parents know better than to yell at the referee. We’re not that kind of club.
    3. The personal and sporting development of young players is far more important to me than our standing in the league table or winning a trophy at some ‘elite’ tournament in California.

        4. Whether or not they take private lessons from me will have no impact on their playing time.

                    Experienced that. Crossfire. Found out a few months later that the coach was disliked by ED and hated working there. He left in April and so did we.
