Hey all I am a fellow RCL parent and also a software engineer. I am wondering if you guys think it might be valuable if I made an app to review clubs/coaches/teams in WA? I was recently laid off and have the time :)

Valuable to who? Most of these review sites/apps are pretty close to worthless as far as providing information about the quality of the product. Only people with strong views (mostly negative) select into the reviewing process, so you mainly get disgruntled negative reviews that say more about the reviewer than the product. It's the nature of our current online times.

When I'm looking for options for my kids leading up to the tryout season I like to learn information about:
1) Historical competitiveness / standings for a particular age-group / team
2) Where & when the practices are held
3) The coach - what have other parents and kids experienced with this underpaid and potentially perverted person
4) The club - how well organized are they? Do they put any focus or effort in teaching at levels below their A team? etc.
5) The cost.
I am sure others will care about criteria like college scholarship or pro acceptance rates.

My experience is that there clubs either don’t read them or don’t care about what they do read. Seriously. They hear what they want to hear.
