Looking to possibly switch clubs for the 1st time, but missed tryouts, kid wanted to be committed to finishing out the current season first. Is it tool late to get on a 1st or 2nd team elsewhere (if it’s a good fit)? Or are we SOL until the next tryout window? Not interested in dual roster, etc.

Also depends on if the current club will release the player. You may need to swap leagues WPL to RCL etc

Without outing my player, or current club (still may continue with the club). Middle school age, starting midfielder on the current first team. Seattle/Eastside area. Good, not great player, so definitely not a top 3 type player situation. Considering the season is just about over, and have not accepted any offer to return, would it matter to change leagues?

Go to XF, they will roster over 24+ players and will absolutely add a player from another club before promoting a kid from the second team.

This poster is right. Their teams will be full now, but your player will be able to get on if they go train with a team below their abilities. That is if they are a B team player, take them to the C team coach. This move will also set them up for lots of playing time as they should be one of the strongest players on the team and will catch the eye of the B team coach for next year

If you missed tryouts go to Western Washington Surf. They'll take anyone and have plenty of roster space on every team.
