Generally speaking - yes it would be a good choice. But the details matter.
Details like:
1) What are your kid's goals and intentions for making this change?
2) Which club are you leaving and which club are you going to? The environment matters. And how is the coach.

Club is BHFC and possibly making the switch to TCU.
currently on the BHFC 1st team but playing in D2. Would like my child to be challenged and enjoy their Time. The Team we are considering playing in the top of the Super league and has had consecutive success as a team.
Met the coach and he seems nice, well spoken, and from the looks fosters a great team atmosphere

In general I think RCL is better. WPL has some good teams, but not the club consistency that RCL/WYS has.

It very much depends on the age group. In general, I don’t think you’d expect a huge difference between RCL 2 and WPL super league. WPL sometimes has more variance.
A top team from one is probably going to be better than a bottom team from the other, which means better players to train with. That’s more important than winning.
Check the scores from this past year for Super League and make sure there aren’t too many lopsided games.

RCL competition is better. WPL has teams like titans and Celtic, which generally speaking, are on the select level.
