Select or premier?

How can I tell in the standings if it is a select team or a premier team? I would like to know mainly for the girls side if that makes a difference.
Also between the different leagues. Ecnl, GA, Wpl, ECNL-RL, Npsl, Rcl, plus other leagues. Thanks

First of all how do you define select vs. premier? Throw in terms like "Elite" and "Academy" as well. Unfortunately these names are used differently by different clubs and leagues.

The terms are meaningless anymore, put the terms in the soccer ranking app and you will find a bunch of teams with select in their name in the top 2O and a ton of teems with premier in the name in the bottom 100 for each age group. Even looking at RCL or WPL don't help as most of the best teams in those leagues have left.

Yeh, use the soccer app to tell what teams are strong which are weak. It's strangely accurate especially for teams older than U11.

If your son or daughter wants to play for the the 69th best team at their age at $4500/year including coaches travel stipend vs $1k for 10.5 month soccer to play on the 22nd strongest team at their age tell them they can pick...........when they come up with the extra $3500

Go to the standings for Select (NPSL ) or Premier (RCL or WPL) or ECNL, et cetera. It's not hard.
