    Crossfire to Rebrand as Surf

Goodbye XF, it was good knowing you!

    This is happening.

Look at the news its full of announcements of the rebranding of clubs actoss the US.

    https://surfsoccernation.com/category/surf-nation/

Earlier it was NWE in Portland (which was previously a club under the Crossfire brand), then Titans, now XF.

My guess is another lawsuit is on its way and this is a way to separate Crossfire from LWYSA

I don’t think this is anything more than a tournament money grab. XF leadership seems too narcissistic to sell out the brand.

Funny you say money grab. XF pays for travel (flights ,hotels etc) for 12 ECNL teams to attend league games and showcases across the country. I am sure you can do the math.
They raise money to put back into kids and it doesn't come from other lower teams fees like people claim. They do tournaments , jersey sponsors , and an auction to raise these funds. Is that a bad thing ? Is that being corrupt?
It's called providing more opportuniies for players and families to participate in a sport that isn't cheap.
Tell me one other club in Washington that has paid for travel or assisted their teams financially on a consistent basis? None !
I would ask what other clubs like Eastside and WPFC do with the money they raise from their tournaments and auction.

Sorry to tell you not going away. Think you need to read the announcement better. Strictly a merge between two tournaments not clubs.

Nothing going away. How about answer the question. What other clubs put the money they raise back into the kids ? What do they do with their money from
                tournaments and auctions?

Makes sense as to why they are taking 25 players now on their ECNL teams. Funds the travel costs for the 18 who travel now that they are going to use Surf to manage their tournament.

Is it bad that people are starting to realize that Tom and his gang at Eastside were just as bad all along? “Building champions” aka stuffing their pockets under the guise of morals

XF is more likely to be renamed as Gambian Osaka than Surf.
