Yeah, it IS weird how out of all the trainers in the area, the only ones called out on this forum happen to be Black or Hispanic. And they’re not declared bad trainers, they are called “scammers”, “frauds”, and “hustlers”. Must be just a weird coincidence.
you can find a coach named Tao in another thread that isnt black or hispanic getting crucified.
I think the issue is when some of these coaches sign up to coach young teams for the sole reason that they can sell private lessons
My son was at Sounders Academy when he was there. He didn’t coach a team but was hired to do technical work. Got fured for soliciting Academy players to join his private business as customers
Actually I just think he was allowed to assist for basically nothing similarly to Walcott and Milan.
SA would never have hired him if he didn't have the skills. And if he didn't help any players develop, he'd have been out of biz a long time ago. Stop hating.
SA have hired plenty of clowns with no skills over the years. Remember Matt Brewer, who was fired for very clear and obvious bias towards SU? He was an absolute joke of a coach, hired for the accent.
My bad, you’re absolutely right! I forgot about the Asian man is also labeled as a crook (not a bad trainer).
Even MORE interesting!! Not sure the quality of their lessons is the real issue here.
Here’s the pattern that I’ve identified by viewing this hell hole of a forum for the past 6 months:
Step 1: Regardless of results, attack their competency as coaches
Step 2: Mock any success and attribute it to something that was inherited not earned
Step 3:Insinuate that they are doing immoral things
Step 4: Ramp up the personal attacks and adding outrage that these individuals are ruining youth soccer
Step 5: Rinse and repeat
No doubt a closely associated parent in club soccer who has benefited from graft. Maybe even an official person who was able to secure a Copa or ECNL based on recommendation. Are folks really paying for trainings….
As a child I read Grimm’s fairy tales version of Hansel and Gretel. Also, the story from the Middle Ages about The Pied Piper of Hamlin intended to warn children about charismatic strangers presenting themselves as friends. It’s maybe a bit over the top.
Yet, parents are responsible for protecting their children in every way. Please stop allowing some fly by night soccer coaches with no real credentials to dupe you.
