I’m not sure how EJ came into this. In any case, Jose Ramos’s soccer history doesn’t compare to EJ. Google can help you here. I’m one those parents who feel like JRS has over inflated his profile. There’s nothing much about him online, not from US or Mexico. Not any youth team invitation. Only a claim of Sounders Academy which a lot of kids in Seattle can boast of.

It’s ok to be in any business. But as a parent, I will stay away from one that is very filled with dubious claims.

For starters EJ takes a lot more money from these gulable parents than Ramos ever will. We took one session from EJ during the pandemic. It was ok but not worth the money and we get spammed every week to sign up for more sessions with him. It looks like he is full time with these privates from Friday evening to Sunday evening. How can he possibly still coach any terms at Crossfire. No seriously, how can he have time to coach any games?

This guy's comment nailed it. The personal session grifters, like EJ, massively shortchange the players on the club teams they coach. They just don't put the time into all the things club soccer players deserve and expect, and instead milk gullible parents for personal training session dough. "How can he possibly still coach any teams at Crossfire" The answer is that he can't do everything he is supposed to do for the players on his teams. He just can't. Kids on his Crossfire teams are simply getting ripped off.

You know if one of these kids doing these "privates" get hurt or God help them touched inappropriately during the privates the parents are going to sue the big club they work for as they have all the money and tacidly approve the privates by not banning them. Just ask Black Hills or Pac NW who have band their coaches from taking extra money from their players after pedophilia scandals from their coaches doing privates.

Quiet as it’s kept, back in the day clubs provided a foundation of technical training, taught set plays, and scrimmages. Niw, we just get scrimmages .which creates space for extorters to provide privates and fitness . But these people don’t have the proper training or credentials. What about background checks and accountability?

Ramos has never had a playing career. How old is the guy? There is your answer. How does he know what it takes when he was finished by the age of 20. You can have a passion to stay involved in the game but where does his or his helpers experience come from? You can get the same results from going to a park and kicking against a wall.
