Bottom line, he’s not a good coach. Don’t trust someone that cons people and gets his exercises from YouTube.

This sounds personal to you. You’re not coming off as a parent that ‘feels scammed’. You’re coming off as another trainer that feels threatened. And petty.
As a parent, I find value in his program and I’m willing to pay his prices. If you can do better, do it.

I have no interest in coaching, I’ve played and coaching is not something that attracts my interest.

Having played and being around the soccer environment, I can distinguish a con artist pretending to be a coach. Personally, I wouldn’t have my children train under someone with no integrity, as so many other parents have mentioned. The integrity of a coach is important, like it or not, these coaches are quite a significant amount of time with our children. If I want my children to be coached by a YouTube or facebook coach, I’ll pay for his services.

I would have to agree. He and EJ are very similar in what they do and charge. In all honesty Jose was a better baller then EJ.

My son trained with one of Jose's coaches, Aidan, for a while. He has improved his ball control and match play significantly through the training. He wears trackers in all training sessions and matches. He always registers highest intensity at JRS. Training improves players if it can simulate match intensity or push it even higher. Yes, JRS is expensive, but it is the only training that pushes my son to his limit. If any of other coaches or clubs can push my kid to higher numbers, I am happy to switch.
One thing I really liked is that Aidan wears cleats in all training sessions and even brings extra pairs for different surfaces. Well, you can say the same things for EJ, Dawda, TR, and T12. They are the ones who I respect and actually improve players. There are many other private trainers who wear very comfortable shoes and rarely touch the ball during the sessions. Those are the actual frauds.

All of these “trainers” are snake oil salesmen. Do any of them have the academic or scientific background to understand what’s going on with your kiddos body? Do they understand developmental psychology? What about nutrition?Do you or they understand these children and adolescents need lots of rest? Friday night trainings on days before a big weekend? They empty the pockets of parents with empty heads? People who think they’re in the know. The smart crowd running from one trainer to the other. Always texting and gossiping the image of a loser. You all are creating these monsters in your self-deception. You’re complicit in your own exploitation!!!!
