    Three Rivers

Three Rivers going to ECNL or should they stay at RCL?

They should go ECNL but I'm not sure they meet the requirements of fielding that many teams.

Yeah I don’t think they can go ECNL. They have some good teams but they aren’t strong enough at every age group. 09 and younger are definitely strong but their U17 & U19 teams would get hammered pretty decently and that’s what ECNL cares about.

You mean like XF2 CP and Snohomish?

I would say they would be a mid pack ecnl team. Way better than snohomish but still not close to crossfire.

Three Rivers best team is probably the 2009s. The other ones would be fighting to not be last place at ECNL.

Looks like Three Rivers girls were added to RL and boys are most likely staying there

They would be a solid addition to ECNL for boys. If they were added, you could expect a lot of players from CWS to join them for ECNL and they would definitely be in the running for 3-5th place in all ages.

Just stay where you belong. Stop reaching for leagues. Ask Spokane and Snohomish how it went getting into ECNL.

Unless they aren’t getting enough competition across the board this might be the correct take.

Will they attract any more or better players by being ECNL vs ECRL ? Honest question.

Yes, being in ECNL would definitely attract higher level players for 3Rivers. But I imagine it really can't be many. What is the next major city near the area? Yakima? That is still over an hour away! Feel bad for the 3Rivers boys, I heard they do produce decent players every once in awhile, but they are so far away from Seattle and Portland.

They wont have an issue retaining players

They already attract the best players in their area. That's not a benefit. The benefit would be for their players who would get more exposure than going undefeated in ECNL-RL which is a joke of a league to begin with. It's just Div I RCL in shiny new packaging.

Ecnl needs to kick out XF ecnl 2 and snohomish and bring in 3 rivers and cws sounders. That division is dominated by 2 clubs, time to bring in some real competition.
