ISC board members were not chosen by the membership…the majority were appointed by other like-minded board members. And then that BOD (plus a few coaches - all have now left) hired the ED….Rory.

        You’re wrong.

Name the last board member that was actually voted for by the membership! You can’t. They were all appointed by other board members…fostering a group-think environment where the kids become victims to egos and posturing.

Similarly to SU, only the board has the authority to nominate new board members. However, it’s unlikely that they would nominate someone who is genuinely interested in improving soccer development within the club. Let’s be honest: considering the extensive area they cover, SU should be leading the way in Washington soccer. Yet, more often than not, they find themselves either in second place or on par with XF

As a hijack of a thread, this one's a classic.
SU has achieved parity at some age groups by out-executing Crossfire at the things that SU has control over. SU's Achilles' heel has been and will probably always be field locations in Seattle, Seattle Parks' policies with regards to access to them, and Seattle traffic.

Don't any of you ever feel badly for this nasty treatment of Rory? I mean jeez you all act like he's committed murder or spread a disease.

He's rebuilding the club and funny thing is, he'll still be there two years from now when your little "Jackson" is sitting on the bench on his 0-15 Titans EA team.

That’s very specific. Nice try Rory, shut the hell up.

He’s not rebuilding a club. There will be nowhere to “still be” because the club won’t exist. How quickly Rory managed to kill Gunners is almost impressive. They’ll be lucky to exist in June, let alone 2 years from now.

From the intel I have gathered this club will fold next season. They are looking at a massive 75% drop in tryout registrations year over year. I feel bad for the loyal families, but it’s too late now.

some of their kids are already on some eastside teams, with more to come at tryouts. It’s incredible.
