I think there are a few people who are legitimately sad to see a club that was previously a positive place for our kids fall apart so quickly. And the injustice that new leadership drove our beloved coaches also contributes. So while LFC is a small fish, it causes a large response.

Exactly. A bunch of these soccer types don’t realize that club soccer is a customer service industry. Rory and the current board are a stunning example of a combination of tunnel vision, naivety, incompetence, and stubborn ignorance.

I agree with this. However, I do think its a bummer that gunners is no more. Was a good club that had some promise and provided an alternative to Eastside FC- not that there is anything wrong with EFC, but its not for everyone. Maybe a club like Cascade will benefit?

When did anyone say Gunners is no more? There are a few posters doing serial character assassination of their ED and maligning their board, and predicting the consequent demise of the club, but there's no evidence that it has happened. There was a forward-looking letter from the ED that was posted here, their website is live, and it's still advertising tryouts.
