I bet for the boys at least, Xfire Select A teams would beat every EA team that these clubs produce.

So all of those dual roster XF kids are garbage as soon as they put on a Titans jersey. These takes are ridiculous.

Crossfire select is a fine program but play in a rec league. Nothing wrong with that, but put your money where your mouth is.

Probably the worst thing about EFC is that they ABSOLITELY DO NOT RECRUIT.- unlike SU and XF. Gunners kids because EFC is close and a natural transition.

I will give you a very easy example:

SU and XF will tske a player equal or maybe even slighltly worse from a competitor and put them on the top team OVER a kid on their b team.

EFC will offer the kid a b team spot and make them earn a spot on the top team. If the kid is better than the kids on the top team, they will go on the top team. But if its even, the b team player gets the call up.

sometime they dont evaluate talent very well and get this wrong, many coaches there really like athleticism, but they arent offering spots to kids on the top team that they dont think deserve it. Again, you could argue in certain cases they didnt pick or promote the right kid- but after many years at efc, ive seen a lot of kids get promoted to the top team and a lot of kids choose not to go to efc because they were offered a b team spot.

I want in on this action. If only we could bet on youth sports - wouldn't that just make this all that much more fun....

I love the bashing that takes place as if multiple players on ISC teams didn't turn down offers at other clubs because they preferred the coach they had or wanted to play with their friends because that is more important to them.

I love that everyone pretends that no ISC players ever got invited to US Club id2 camps or played/started on EPD teams (before it became a joke) alongside all your XF, EFC, Sounders wunderkids...

I'll say what I've been saying. Solve this on the field - historically EFC never agreed to play ISC because of the risk of them losing. It would ruin their marketing.

So enter a real tournament in the top bracket and see what happens. There is no kid from the top teams at XF or EFC that moved to Gunners/Titans or Surf. I know both teams intimately at 06/07.

Grabbing players from the bottom of someone elses roster and combining that with the kids at gunners/lfc/surf/titans may marginally improve your team.

We went through the records in another thread. No facts substantiate your claim- its all complete fairy tale.

i want to be fair to the kids on that team. I am sure they are good kids. But what can you point to that says you are better than every ecnl team?
