    Today's post isn't about Rory

Ha...of course it is. Everything is about Rory according to Rory.

Recent snips from the manager meeting that we're not included in the amazing PowerPoint slides:

    1) The coaches left for more money. Hahahaha. They took cuts.

    2) The coaches left because they wouldn't get behind the program. Hahahaha. Ask them why they left and they will happily tell you it wasn't the "program" unless Program is another word for Rory

If you know why they left, enlighten us!

I think Lance said it best in his email.

"Across my thirty plus years in American competitive youth soccer I have seen many examples of fantastic leadership and also very poor leadership. Typically it comes down to being able to build a cohesive, positive culture based on inclusiveness, collaboration and camaraderie or building a toxic culture based on exclusion, micro-managing, and blame shifting. Trust is a two way street, but it is the leader who creates the culture.

The culture at LFCIA WA is both toxic and broken. Initially I did my best to help improve it, when I faced roadblocks I tried to correct it and now I am resigned to understanding that it will not change until leadership does. The stress of this situation has directly impacted my marriage and my health. It didn't have to be this way. We had a wonderful staff, but when their concerns were ignored they did what any sane person would do, they found better options.

In the short six months I have been at LFCIA WA I have gotten to know the quality and character of Eddie Henderson, Erin Vaughan, Gareth Vaughan, Michael Conchie, Sami Maamar and Sarah Reiber. To see their character officially impugned by LFCIA WA leadership is abhorrent to me and the ethos I live by. With no change on the horizon or accountability for this action I was left with a choice. Stay and be guilty by association or live true to my convictions."

Lance was hired by Rory just a few short months before he sent this email. This is why they all left.

That is quite articulate and damning.
