I have no idea who will become a mls next club, but I’m pretty sure they would pull the best ecnl players. It’s a step above ecnl.

Not sure what you base this off of. The top MLS next teams are always the MLS academy teams. After that, the top ECNL teams are on par if not better than most of the remaining top MLS next squads. It’s truly a regional thing, in some areas you have strong MLS next programs and in others you have strong ECNlL. The big question is what happens to MLS next once all the MlS academy teams break off on their own?

In what world does Titans, “Western Washington Surf” and MLS NEXT or ECNL coincide in a post? They have over 100 teams and 2 are good.

Titans has about 1500 to 2000 players. We are talking about $600K to $1M waste on useless Titans gears. If the CO2 level reached 1.5°C increase by 2025, it's all Adam's fault.

Yes they are related. The are affiliates of Surf Cup Sports.

Now probably only the B13 Elite. Their B12 and G12 Elite teams are done.

They are working at retaining talent, I think having Surf will help. Right now all the best players get funneled to XF and SU, it’s a broken system that doesn’t just affect titans. It affects the entire region.

Surf affiliation will help that club. If they could work on the girls side they could make a big jump. GA would be great for them.

You’re only broke if you don’t play at XF. Forever summer

What’s really broken is that Titans does not have enough qualified coaches or even simply not enough coaches. You will constantly see 2 or even 3 of teams are training together, and Titans won’t give you a single penny back even they are doing this for a whole season. Their best coaches are former college players, and their normal coaches are just former select level players. How would you expect them to retain players and compete with XF and SU. They were trashed by Seattle Celtics for a good reason.

RIP Titans. You used to play competitively in the Select club ranks, but Adam got greedy and spread his talent from rec, through select, through elite and now his teams can't compete at any level. Every desperate club in the area has paid the Surf franchise fee and then ben out of business 2 years later. Think Greater Seattle Surf and Bellevue Surf recently.

That was Bellevue Rush you moron. It’s better to stay quiet when you are so ignorant.

I think the original poster's point is valid. Paying $100ks of fees to an out of state franchise ( rush, surf or Liverpool) is an act of desperation for a local club that can no longer compete on their original brand.

No need to name call. At least you can take your kid to EFC, the Titans coaches are going to have to go back to Oil Can Henrys.

Agree that this smacks of desperation. Not surprising though… somehow Adam will grab more $$$ out of this.
