Coaches might have a better perspective, but I've never gotten a sense that they bother much with scouting efforts. This said, the answer to your question depends on what year your son is playing. If you want to attempt a deep dive, Google the precise name of the team (e.g. Kitsap Alliance FC B(insert year) Blue) and see what comes up.
