Spain, France, England. I don’t expect the likes of Norway, Sweden and Germany to have particularly small players, and they have some very good players. But it’s not just the size of an individual player. It’s the utter reliance on it by some teams and the lack of technical and tactical training here in the US. And it shows - in the run-up and in the first game, not been impressed with the USWNT play.
But you probably havent heard of her, keep spouting dumb sh:t on Talking-Soccer

”International additions are a big part of DI women's soccer. Check out the confirmed players set to join in 2023 from outside the United States.”
check out the list of players:

One portion of the comment relates to size and you seem really fixated on that. Perhaps you got a biggin on your hands. Take a deep breath -it will be ok.
"And this is why the women’s game in the US will go the same way as the men’s. The rest of the world is getting better and training their players to play creatively and focusing on skill and the soccer mind - not just on finding and stacking teams with the biggest players they can find. Colleges here do the same thing. Look at the typical college roster - 90% of the girls are huge and the game is so slow and boring. This will be the last World Cup that the USWNT are favored in - unless something drastic changes."
Your only point was that the US only looks at size. Btw, will take the US in 2027. I even gave you an example of one of the top players on USWNT that wasnt on the team because of her size and shes far from the smallest. In fact she has 7 teammates smaller than her. Nice try though.
And yes, i have a big athletic beast of a daughter who kicks your daughters a55. Sorry the coaches werent looking for a scrawny, unathletic, weak minded girl who couldnt play.
keep trying though!

Being patriots doesn’t mean stop questioning the status quo.
But I don’t understand what is the point of this argument.
It all sounds like colleges are bad for the USWNT because kids don’t spend enough time playing soccer while in college. Of course they want to finish college well! Why wouldn’t they?
Instead of imposing strict requirements on ECNL and colleges, they should fund academies, so talented kids who cannot afford college can train and play soccer for free.
