Good list. The problem is Adam won't share the ridiculous profits he makes from Eastside parents with these coaches and he makes them work after school programs for free to recruit kids so they can have more elementary age teams. When the coaches figure out with all the uncompensated time they work they are making less than $10/hour they go to other clubs to get fairly paid. The result is a revolving door of 19 year old inexperienced coaches.

Good and bad coaches come and go in most clubs - the fact is that this isn't a sustainable career for most young coaches. Titans currently have some very strong coaches - Calyx, Sam and Tyler come to mind. But everyone will have their own opinion on who is good vs.not For example, I am not convinced that Andy was focused on player development as you say. He lucked out with a few strong players landing on his teams and focused all his attention on them - just like pretty much every other run of the mill young coach in a club these days. I agree Keegan Rogers was a strong coach though.

Just like you disagree about Andy, there’s a lot of parents, myself included, that we wouldn’t count Calyx, Sam or Tyler as “strong” coaches. Calyx is a great sales woman, terrible coach though, we’ve seen it first hand. She lucked out with bringing the top players from Arena Sports to Titans FC. Credit to her on that though. Sam is most definitely not a “strong” coach, not unless you like the military type of “coaching” style he has. We’ve dropped off our player at training while he has his 7 year old runs laps around the field and barking orders at them. I’ve played at a high level, none of those coaches you categorized as “strong” coaches correct proper technique, no soccer IQ, or game awareness. We’ve experienced this first hand.

Sam is a strong coach because he has a big strong voice. I like his voice. Very good. Scares a seven year old and demonstrates who’s the boss.

We’ve heard from other parents that he’s in a band. Maybe he should stick to that, instead of showing 7 year olds who’s boss. That’s kind of weird.

It is sad and delusional if you think any of these names are good coaches. Keep drinking the Kool Aid.

Titans is the strangest club I know.

                1) For profit if I recall, the only club that I know locally that is.
                2) Has players that come from extremely far away to play in games. Heard some kids as far as 2 hrs away!
                3) Has many players that play in a RCL team.

If all three rumors are true, it really is a unique club.

Jack is coaching now at Valencia CF Academy - Seattle. Great coach.

Isn't rumors what this message board is all about? It's like a gossip rag for entitled soccer parents to slam other clubs/leagues/coaches. We have two kids playing with Titans and don't see any of what you list. This thread is just parents from the power clubs trying to bring down an up and coming club (just like they'll continue to slam WPL/EA since according to them, there's only RCL/ECN in their universe)

Valencia has an academy here? Amazing. They must be really good.

I do agree, there is definitely some big club bashing the little club going on here. But as a parent who has had kids over the last 5 years at Titans and XF (both Select and Premier). My issue with Titans is back to the original post. They charge a "Premium" price for a product that is not as good as many of the "Select" products in the area. Joining new "elite" leagues may keep some less sophisticated parents around for a while, but they will mostly be gone by High School. sorry.

You are correct, sir! It's also for useless coaches to promote their money grabbing clubs.

Yeah, they are like a 43rd team in the State in their age group! Quite an achievement.

Where are the rankings? Honest question. Is there a link?

There is an app called Soccer Rankings in the AppStore by "USA Sport Statistics". It's obviously not perfect but at least you can see the sources and who the team played against. It is also sometimes used by third-party tournament organizers to seed the teams.
