It's all about being the best, right? Way to teach your kids if you're not first, your last (slow clap). Why the hell would we teach future generations teamwork and community while having fun? Wait, they have to be wannabe D1 prospects to do that, my bad. God forbid some players who are not good enough to play ECNL still want to travel and play soccer with their friends. That would really be the end of the world. If you don't like it, don't do it. Titans have to be doing something right as that club has been growing a lot since we joined before COVID.

As the other posters have said the younger XF kids don't play with titans if they make an ECNL team. That's according to that dad of the kid who plays with us. He also told me they pay $0 in fees to the titans. They only had to pay for his uniform.

Don't knock the Titans though. The owner has a nice business $$$ and it looks like a fine place for 6-10 year olds to get their basics. But the very best Titans players (and it looks like coaches) move to ECNL teams at U-13 before its to late and most of the rest move to one of the local select clubs or stop playing. Look at the ratio of High School to U-11 Titans teams and compare that to XF and EFC. Its ridiculous. They should rebrand as "Little Titans" :) and they should stop wasting their families money by joining these bush league leagues every couple of years that have the words "Elite" and "Premier" in the names.
      Who is the coach leaving?

The fundamental problem now for Titans is although 6-10 years olds are big pool and big $$$, they don't have qualified coaches to manage the group. After the few good ones left for EFC, the rest good coaches are coaching 10-12 years group to get good WPL results. Some coaches of their U9 and below age groups won't be qualified for Arena Sports or i9. The training quality of some of the Navy(A) teams are worse than school summer sports camps. Parents with basic understanding of the sport will find out in 2-3 months that it is totally a waste of money.

I am still confused on which "good ones" left for EFC?

TITANS is a very good started club for younger kids. It offers good fundamentals and convenience of neighborhood team.

Most of the little ones who come to our club after Titans are doing great. So you have to give titans credit where it’s due.

The credit would mostly likely go to their parents rather than Titans. My younger daughter's Titan team had several technically strong girls. They left for XF/EFC after 6 months once it is possible because the parents were so disappoint with the training quality.

You keep repeating the same narrative - and no one can actually name the 'good coaches' that left, so I suspect it's the same person that's poking this topic. Let's all move on...

G08 XF 3rd team beat Titans G08 A handily the only time they ever played them. The Titans coach was also a chauvinist ass and was really rude to the XF coaches and officials on the field, made derogatory comments about XF players with the full intent the the XF kids would hear him. The titans G08 team folded last year . . . not exactly a ringing endorsement of their amazing development.

Maybe that was the coach that went to EFC

Who are the titans? The kids have been playing for years and never heard of them.

Yeah, same.we never heard of titans either because they mostly compete with other titans teams.

apparently, titans have a bunch of good U-little teams but don’t offer anything substantial once the kids reach the age of about 9-10 years old.

Titans is the new eagleclaw. Same sales pitch- watch in a couple of years they will have some EPL name on their kit.

its a joke and Adam is a lowlife soccer junky profiting off medina moms. Keep falling for the accent though. He is a true snake oil salesman.

I think it highly depends on the coach you have. It's hit or miss. I think the variability really reflects Titans lack of organizational structure and excellence. That being said, we had a great experience and with hindsight I think it was the right club for our kid when they were young.

                            pros:
                            * local and convenient
                            * inter-club play for younger age groups is great
                            * great coaching if you're lucky

                            cons:
                            * expensive (probably one the prices clubs out there)
                            * poor coaching if you're unlucky
                            * lack of organizational structure and excellence

There are a handful of titans girls headed to XF tryouts. Curious if any make a top team or maybe after the parents/players realize the gap in skill they’ll return to titans with their tails tucked between their legs.

Titans used to have good coaches. There’s a reason why those coaches left. Jack Sturgess left first, then Keegan Rogers moved to Spokane, Javier Cruz left for EFC and Andy Fordyce followed him. Jack was Adam’s right hand man for a while and was a good coach. Javier Cruz was extremely passionate coach and had two of their top teams and developed a lot of kids that moved to other top clubs and now we’re actually happy that he’s at EFC. Andy Fordyce followed him after winning two Gold Div WA State Cups with his G12s team. He’s another good coach that would actually develop his players and grew that whole G12 and G13 age group.
