Anyone know about the new Gunners Exec Director? Apparently he refused to announce coach assignments, costs for the program, and other details during a last-minute meeting with parents last night.

I was on that meeting and you are mistating things. They don't have the coaching slate determined yet because the HS boys tryouts happen so early relative to the rest of the teams. It's coming in March/April for the whole club. But for context, I don't think any other clubs have announced their annual fees and coaching slates either. It's like an annual game of chicken to see which club sets the price first and then everyone else follows. Lots of antitrust price-fixing going on in this market!

This attitude is why so many of us parents have left the gunners and taken our kids elsewhere. Eastside is the superior program. Better fields, better coaches and overall better soccer orientated culture. From what I’m hearing from my friends at Gunners they will all be taking their kids to try out some place else.Comment
