what’s titans fc like? any thought on this club compared to others? don’t know what to do with my kid, wpl vs rcl and different clubs

Like any other club, it has its positives and negatives. One positive relevant for this board is that there's no drama. The club is 100% owned by Adam and so coaches that further Adam's business plan and get along and work well with him do well, and the others leave. Its run like a business - pure and simple. Since its not a non-profit there's less requirement to volunteer, go to fundraisers, or a board of directors, or any of that rubbish. You pay and get coaching and a soccer based experience for your kid that is often going to be in or near your neighborhood. The strongest players will move to Crossfire, PacNW, or Eastside as they approach high school age, but there will be plenty remaining who love the game and have fun doing if that's what your kid is into. Like any other club, some coaches are good...and some are bad. I think Calyx (Eastside Titans) is the most famous one - she works her teams hard and focuses on winning. I think she develops the most Crossfire bound (or Crossfire simultaneous players).

Yeah there is apparently some weird loan based relationship between XF and the Titans, but I think it's only for the Bellevue location.

My kid plays for both Titans and XF - 2 or 3 kids on his team do the same (and yes, I’m spending a lot of money on this). Simply ECNL/RCL is stronger than WPL - so have to be in WYS to compete against the best. The reason we are still with Titans, though, is that, in my opinion, the Titans coaching is better than XF. He is the only kid from his XF team to move up and a lot of that is due to the extra sessions with Titans. If my financial situation were different, he would play XF select and do something else (like Coerver) - probably a better value.

That makes no sense. Why would anyone who plays for crossfire want to play for titans? I'd be embarrassed to tell anyone at crossfire that my kid plays for the titans. they would laugh

We loved our coach. Left to a different club though so no reason to stay for this year.
