    XF, I Hate it here!!

They are paying for a majority of the travel for all teams in the ECNL playoffs. They just assume that I don’t want to pay for it myself!. I am also frankly getting very tired of the college attention my child is receiving. Let’s not even talk about the winning….Boring. It would be nice to lose once in awhile.

But wouldn't it feel better to be around people you actually care about? And genuinely care about you? Well that might be an impossibility for you.

HAHAHA....Don't forget the terrible trips you take domestically and abroad, the attention from academy scouts, the sense of belonging to something that is bigger than yourself and the multicultural experiences. Oh wait, someone said Asians and Indians don't count as minorities in prior threads...Is that because they are successful and intelligent?

I want to shout out to all of the Karens, Trannys, SAHMs, and on and on... Have fun trying to think of why one person's positive experience should be voided because of something you read or experienced fourth hand and you are now butt hurt because your kid sucks....

It's hard to guess if you are actually a non XF person sarcastically impersonating "that XF parent" or you actually are "that XF parent" - kinda funny to speculate though

No, because they don’t consider themselves as minorities. Thanks for supporting the stereotype. You have proved my point.

Have you heard of the caste system in India. Do little research sometime.

Big weekend for XF on the ECNL Girls side. NorCal is in town MVLA & DeAnza Force). One of these teams is top of the ECNL NW Conference at every age bracket - except U13. These teams are legit, and hopefully bringing their best players to showcase.
Will be interesting to see how XF (and SU) teams do Saturday & Sunday
                should be some good soccer!

On the girls side, the weekend of April 10th it looks like crossfire lost 3 of 6 matches vs Eastside FC. Is that correct? Also, isn't Eastside FC ahead of crossfire at U17/18 and in 1st?

Correct - a team isn’t going to play well without a coach and 2 players fighting legal battles. Not a fun way to end their final season

                        If a team is playing well at u17/u18 it may mean a number of things;

                        1) They have a lot of players that have not signed yet. Once players sign, their minds and heart are thinking about being on the college campus.

                        2) They don’t have a lot of under class person committed. Once committed, their minds turn to getting their skills ready for college. Playing as a team for club go right out the window.

It takes a coach that understands the new these situations and find a way to motivate the players.

A club coach threaten their playing time no longer works. At this point, clubs no longer have the power over players.

A the needs to find a way to make it a win win for all side in my humble opinion.

Huh, that must mean FC Portland and Boise Thorns are the darlings of that age group sitting in 8th and 9th. I mean Boise hasn't won a game, their entire team must be committed to D1 schools and no longer thinking about club.

On the boys side, Seattle United came in first at 2006 and 2005 and are leading XF at 2008, but that is still TBD. Since the above poster references that 2004/2003 doesn't matter- it looks pretty even between SU and XF

Have you looked at Boise state signees and commits? They are full of player from the Boise thorns. I have no idea why Boise state takes so many players from that team.

hmmm, maybe because a coach of the thorns is also the recruiting coach for Boise state. Also, have you looked at Boise state roster size.
