FWIW, playing against Eagleclaw has generally been a fine experience. They play possession-based soccer, and we see on their teams a lot of speedy but small kids with good technical skills, and positive attitudes. But, they seem to get beaten to death by some teams that play NFL ball. We've seen Valor less frequently. I can't really say anything nice about what I saw on the field from them. A lot of bad attitude.

Eagleclaw really does seem like it is grounded in the right mindset and should be more popular. But it is late to the game and clubs like XF and SU have their foot firmly on the region and locked in ECNL. I don't have any experience with them, but speaking with fathers who are either former high level college players or are really in tune with the soccer scene, they all told me Eagleclaw really is great, but it is small and the best players don't end up there.

Eagleclaw has the potential to be great. They just need to make their best teams play WPL super league at the minimum.

Is the Valencia Academy legit? Produce good players? Or just an opp for parents to brag that their kid trained in Spain?
