07 TA officially starts August 2nd but over half the team has been training with the 06s week in and week out already.

Nope .That was the current u15 (2006) as mls next runs longer than your club season (the 06 has a few 2007s on it though)

TA 07 was complete back in May, and that is a fact. If your son was a part of it, you would know. I am not saying that a few kids might not be changed out, or a few practice kids might not be added, provided they convince the Timbers that their parents will make it worth their while. That is how it works folks. It is all politics and cooruption.

My kid has been a part the TA since 2019, I know how it actually works. You need a better source for “facts” as you are missing the important details. Always a brides maid, never a bride

Part of what you said is partially correct.

The 07's were previously with the TA pre MLS Next (US Soccer) and when MLS only required U15 and up the Timbers bailed on the 07's and 08's (Discovery kids were down to 20ish kids)

The TA essentially used RTC and ODP to keep the 07's and 08's within an arms reach while there was no TA. The 07 ODP team is very similar to the now competing 07 Timbers Academy. It is a fact that they are a team and competed in Texas. Look up MLS next standings- scores are easy to find.

The 08 ODP is (They are at regional ODP now) coached by the same guy (Connor) who is the head coach of the 08 (future) TA. He wants to win. Heck of a coach.

Where you slipped a little is this- these coaches play the best player available. It's not politics and corruption as you said. Maybe with the fringe kids little things matter but the stars are the stars and these coaches want to win. The Timbers administration.... don't care two *****$. The coaches do though.
