As always, thanks for the laugh. You have no idea how much I enjoy your pathetic attempts to defend the Metros. All I have to do is say one word, and like a toddler at nap time, you fall over yourself making protests. Classic.
No tourney in 2020 made championships diminish for everyone, are you now trying to sprinkle facts like this into your ramblings? WT National League rep made it 10 regional tickets punched for WST, but to your point reaching that number would involve a deeper dive of math on your end. You forget your +1

With that in mind (+1) & your endless obsession with this prodigious club, it's evident you wish you were-- at that' club. We feel you.

But club zero always needs it's bill paying average joes to say stuck in the mud. errr..EAL.

The pettiness displayed here is such a poor look for westside et al. Seriously- these are kids playing a game. Watching adults display themselves here is embarrassing to say the least. You all need to grow past your childs teams and get a life for yourself.

Curious. Why is it a joke? We have had one set of three games in Salem and one in Salt Lake City. so far. With the rest of the season posted recently. What are your arguments against it? We played a couple of teams that were head and shoulders better than any team in Oregon.
          MIne?
          - Cost associate with travel
          - Time associated with travel
          - Our team struggles against the best 1-2 teams in the state but can beat most of the rest. In EAL we have seen similar teams from what we see locally from a talent perspective except for the two I mentioned above.
          - Why travel when there is good competition locally.

          Arguments for it
          - Traveling was fun to a certain extent for parents
          - The boys had an outrageous time traveling, playing boys they never played before in places they have never been +/- the hotel, eating together, etc Great memories were made.
          - Exposure.

Overall, my wife, son and I have spoke about moving to WestSide next year because of the cost. ADF is in the picture as well. Or maybe just stay with our EAL club. Not sure.

Lets try to keep things rational?

Even at EAL clubs the travel is optional.

Your arguments for are that it’s fun to travel. Go on a vacation with your kids, don’t make soccer your vacation. How much of life are they already missing just to play soccer?

              Exposure? Really?

I hear there are some big Futbol scouts from AFC Richmond at MRFC matches.

AFC Richmond and the E-LITE Academy have a lot in common. It is no wonder their are scouts at each E-LITE match. They should be proud as they stand above the rest of us in an E-LITE world that we can literally only dream of. What I wouldn't do to one day take the field for AFC Richmond, but I will never dawn the uniform or score a game winner because it is all fake

Will the Oregon EAL teams be at the National Showcase in Florida next month?

Yes. OPFC, UPDX and Cap Timbers are going.... They younger boys went to Salt Lake City earlier.

Super lame- traveling that far for three games at a cost of around $1K each.

Can't beat the Washington teams, so gotta get on that plane.

From what I have seen a ton of the age groups from three above are not doing well playing local teams. Now not only are they not doing well locally but they are touring around the country and playing teams from other states. The funniest thing is that many of the teams in Utah had their second or third teams out there "competing" against the Oregon teams. EAL is not elite in any way, shape or form. It is a waste of money and we will be leaving our team if they choose to play in this crap for another year.

Well, the weather in Utah is cold this time of year, so you get exposed to the elements.

And there's always one parent on the team that brings an SLR to the sideline with a lens that's bigger than his or her leg, so there's photographic exposure as well.

But I'm pretty sure that FC Barcelona isn't scouting EAL matches.
