seeing some typical UTDPDX behavior! charging players $295 for "team placement" to basically give you a spot on the team and forgoing any sort of tryouts. "BMc" is a cash cow and i'm sure he will be dipping into his rolodex to bring players in, while other clubs who may have tryout registration open are not offering players any sort of spots or demanding a $295 fee. Given the current financial climate this is in extremely poor taste! nothing like trying to exploit a global pandemic for those state cup medals! ***

OYSA announced at the beginning of the week that all registration and activities that involve tryouts cease completely. If UPDX is charging that exorbitant fee for “team placement”, or pool play between multiple teams, they are not in compliance of the governing body of the league. Maybe they are pulling out and sticking in into the new OPL hole?Comment
