Onyx was a great team, but so was Neon before them and FCP had a great squad before Neon and CU 03 now.... There will be more in the future, maybe even CU06 Or FCP05's. Geez let it go and enjoy the kids teams as they come thru. Root for Oregon teams to win please!!!

ECNL and GDA made USYS events meaningless on girls side. CU03 will have won their region NW league 3 straight years after this year. That seems pretty good.

Onyx was a cultish group with nutter parents and a psycho manager but they were the best in Oregon at the time. They crushed their own age group then moved up an age group and still won it. There is no question they were the best in Oregon and also exemplifies why top players and teams need to be in either ECNL or GDA.

This 'lot' like nearly all girls teams before and all that came after never were able to even crack a USYS regional title. The clubs & teams of this caliber(National elite) across the nation did join DA or US Club travel league. But that has nothing to do with the standard of Oregon Girls Club teams. You aint even with the Band fool.
