Agree OSU needs to schedule tougher - flop out either of PSU or Idaho for a top 25 team and OSU probably gets in, win or lose that game. But your argument fails for Utah - OSU tied Utah and they had basically the same RPI. OSU had 11 wins and Utah 8.

For Oregon job -- I'm guessing Jim Thomas out of Boise State will be in the mix. Rumors are WSU coaches want to move - don't want to be stuck in Pullman, but not sure Eugene/UofO is what they would be looking for. But maybe? Rumors are these coaches are applying for UW job but supposedly UW really wants to hire a female coach - Julie Woodward (Seattle u) comes up a lot in the rumor mill.

Biggest rumor is Jill Ellis. If she wants a college job, she could have her pick, for sure. And not sure there's a better option than a cushy Pac-12 position.
